The Mundane routine

Maybe we never noticed it, we take it for granted, the spirit of mundane.
The mechanical pounding of keys, the gush of water to do dishes, the chopping of vegetables, how crowded does it sound, and how noise does it all get? But when we think of it the mundane is that strength that pulls us out of a crisis there is a comfort in the mechanical chores being done.
The mind takes us through various conflicts may be with the cobbler, the teenager who spends 45mnts on the telephone, whatever. The irrelevant banging of the dishes, or pounding of the keys helps us vent the aggression of the innate hunter aggressor popping up and being honored without really causing major issues.
It could be gradually trained to be a period of reflection and meditation.
